Conference Info: First National Conference on Adolescent Health and Development (27-29 March 2016)

The Ministry of Health, Department of Health Services, Family Health Division, in the support of the Support to Health Sector Programme (S2HSP/GIZ), IPAS, MSI, Save the children, UNFPA, FPAN and other development partners, is excited to announce Nepal’s First National Conference on Adolescent Health and Development, ‘My Health. My Rights. Our Future’, which will take place in Kathmandu from 27-29 March 2016. 





This conference will bring together the various sectors in Nepal associated with adolescent health, leading policy makers, practitioners, researchers, adolescent and youth representatives and media. There will be discussion how to advance the agenda and what it will take to best design and deliver effective adolescent health and development packages, as a shared aspiration and responsibility for the future. Experts within the country and the region and adolescent/youth leaders will engage in a dialogue with partners from the international community, development agencies, the private sector and the research community about new challenges for regional, global and local co-operation and collaboration required for the overall development of adolescents and to promote their health.

The deadline for abstract submission is January 25, 2016
