Call For Sarathis(10)- Visible Impact (August 31, 2016)
  • Are you a young person aged 16- 24?
  • Do you want to become an activist for youth and girls programming, specially their sexual and reproductive health?
  • Are you ready to commit 2-4 hours per week, for 6 month ?
  • Do you want to contribute voluntarily, while gaining leadership experiences from 9 other dynamic young people?

If you answered Yes to these questions, then you might want to become our Sarathi.
Who are Sarathis?
Sarathis are young people aged 16-24 years, coming from different academic background, who will be trained to become activist for girls and young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, and allied issues like menstrual health, early and forced marriage and trafficking. 

How many Sarathis are we recruiting?
  • For the initial 6 months, we are recruiting 1O Sarathis.
What is the time commitment?
  • We want you to be dedicated for 2-4 hours per week for 6 months. After 6 months, we will assess the team again and you can continue for another 6 months. 
What are the benefit of being a Sarathi?
  • Receive a Training of Trainers to become activist and trainer for girls and young people. We are starting with Sarathi for menstrual Health Friendly Schools for the upcoming 6 months.
  • Receive an opportunity to network with like minded young people and learn and share from each other.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
  • Opportunity to conduct school based workshops, trainings and organize events relevant to the theme.
  • Certification upon successful completion of the program.
