Vacancy Announcement for Field Supervisors & Research Assistants Nepal Red Cross Society manages CEHP (Community Empowerment for Health Promotion Program) in collaboration with Swiss Red Cross since 2001. The service of this program are implemented Mid-West Region (MWR) of Nepal. The core services of CEHP are Community Health and WASH, HIV prevention, sensitization of NCDs and strengthening capacity of Red Cross and community network. The program was mainly implemented in Jajarkot, Dang, Rukum, Rolpa and Dolpa districts in previous phase. The new phase-VII of the programme is being implemented from July 2018 to June 2021 with the continuation of two components-Health and WASH in Province 5 (Dang and Rolpa district) and Province Karnali (West Rukum and Kalikot district) Nepal Red Cross Society, Community Empowerment for Health Promotion Programme (CEHP) supported by Swiss Red Cross hereby looking the following positions (short-term) to conduct/carry out field level qualitative research to deliver insightful information on maternal health services utilization particularly facility based delivery in Dang and West Rukum under the overall guidance and supervision of the research management team of NRCS CEHP and Swiss Red Cross.  Position: Field Supervisors Number:  2 (two) Timeframe: 45 days (Tentatively from Feb 1 – Mar 31)  Requirement of competencies, Experience and Skill  Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing or Other Related Health Discipline with at least 3 years’ experience in research particularly qualitative research (both data collection and management) including leading the research related activities with ability to guide and supervise the research team at field level.  Position: Research Assistants Number: 4 (four) Timeframe: 32 days (Tentatively from Feb 1 – Mar 15) Requirement of competencies, Experience and Skill  Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing or Other Health related Discipline with 2 years’ of experience in research. Experience in Data collection preferably qualitative data collection such as IDI and FGD and excellent interpersonal communication skills Age limit Aged between 25 to 40 years and fit in health to travel in rural areas for both positions. Remuneration is negotiable.
