Blue Diamond Society (BDS) is an NGO working for HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment and the promotion of Human Rights for sexual and gender minorities in Nepal.
Blue Diamond Society will accelerate implementation of activities that demonstrate marked improvements in HIV case findings among KPs and priority populations (PPs) and increase early enrollment in treatment, viral load testing and improve adherence and retention among PLHIV. BDS under FHI360/EpiC project announces vacancy for following position:
Position- Project Coordinator
District: Kathmandu
Number of staffs needed- 1
Job Description:
* To involve in planning and implementing activities related to EpiC Nepal Project program.
* To supervise and manage the field staffs of Cruiseaids Nepal
* To develop effective coordination with governmental and non-governmental organization working in HIV/AIDS Prevention sectors of respective districts /region and attend meeting as appropriate
* To monitor and evaluate the Project activities as directed by Project Director
* To prepare monthly plans and logsheets for reporting to BDS
* To prepare weekly and monthly high frequency reporting.
* Develop close Coordination with ART centers of respective projects district
* Develop close coordination & linkages with Program Officer of FHI 360
* Prepare quarterly work plan & quarterly reports and send it to BDS within stipulated date
* Prepare MRM slides & participate in MRM with BDS & FHI 360 PO
* To run the program effectively with good management skills
* To ensure that management goals and objectives are being met and maintained
* To do other work related to the program as delegated by the Project Director
* To be able to manage all duties for which he/she is responsible
* To keep confidential information acquired in the course of work, specially those matters relating to people (employees, clients or others)
* To maintain good relationship with other staffs of the project
Requirements:
* At least BPH (Bachelors in Public Health) passed with 2 years of experience in HIV/AIDS, STI prevention program and/or preferable of having Bachelor passed in social science with minimum 3 years of experience in HIV/AIDS, STI prevention program.
* Preference will be given to the candidates from KPs and candidate with computer skills.
* Flexible working in off-hours (beyond standard office time) based on the reporting requirements as needed.
* Candidate having leadership quality will be of added advantage.
* Experience working in LGBTI community will be of added advantage.
