Liaison and Advocacy Officer

Vacancy Announcement for Liaison and Advocacy Officer CREHPA is looking for a vibrant personality who desires to work as a Liaison and Advocacy Officer. The Research Officer will be responsible for managing and successful implementation of research activities as assigned by CREHPA. Job Objectives Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Director/Co-Director, the liaison and advocacy Officer will manage and implement research related activities as assigned by CREHPA. The Research Officer will be involved in gender and Sexual and reproductive health and rights-related research and research uptake. The research officer will be responsible to oversee communications and coordinate between different stakeholders for the research project. The Liaison and Advocacy Officer will specifically perform the following functions: * Liaise with concerned stakeholders particularly with major stakeholders in SRHR   * Write well-structured content for website and social media, corporate communications, press releases, emails, infographics and promotional material related to the research project * Handle all social media platforms, website and official email system. * Gather, edit and coordinate media collaterals like images, audio, video and texts. * Produce multimedia content, brochures, leaflets, policy briefs and newsletters for widespread dissemination of research findings. * Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, facilitate communications and coordination activities with relevant government as well as non-government stakeholders. * Streamline operations and handle public communications, coordination efforts. * Establish or maintain an up-to-date documentation center for communication materials including publications, press releases and clippings, photographs, audio-visual materials, web resources etc. Minimum level of educational qualification: Master’s degree in Media & Communication, Development Studies, Public Health or Social Science discipline. Skills and Expertise: * At least one year of working experience in the field of media and communications preferably in SRHR and Gender issues. * Excellent skills in professional writing and documentation in English and Nepali. * Experienced with website and social media management and knowledge of various communication tools, platforms and technologies to perform the duties. * Strong negotiation, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks.  * Proactive and independent approach to work and problem-solving. * Nepali Citizen.
