CREHPA is looking for a vibrant personality who desires to work as a Research Officer. The Research Officer will be responsible for managing and successful implementation of research activities as assigned by CREHPA.

Job Objectives
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Director/Co-Director, the Research Officer (RO)will manage and implement research-related activities as assigned by CREHPA. The Research Officer will be involved in gender and sexual and reproductive and rights (SRH)related research and advocacy. The research officer will be responsible for performing policy analysis of the national health bodies and selected global health organizations through a gender lens as a requirement of the research project.
The RO will have the following main roles and responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities:
* Review of policies of various organizations operating in SRHR area with gender lens.
* Prepare data collection tools, quality assurance and monitoring plans.
* Prepare research training materials and train research assistants in conducting research and data analysis.
* Involve in interviews with stakeholders from gender and other relevant sectors.
* Work closely with multi-disciplinary team and with external stakeholders to manage relationships and deliver work.
* Assist team leader in drafting progress and draft.
* Contribute in the development of relevant research articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals and other dissemination activities.
Minimum level of Educational qualification:
* Master’s Degree in Gender and Health, Gender or Development, Public Policy or Public Administration, Organizational Management, or Public Health, or other relevant disciplines.
Skills and Expertise:
* At least one year of working experience, preferably in gender-related or policy related research.
* Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills, including oral presentation skills, in English and Nepali.
* Strong negotiation, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
* Proactive and independent approach to work and problem solving.
* Nepali Citizen.
